About Us

 Tony Fry has been passionately fermenting beer, wine, and especially mead since 2001. What began as a homebrewing hobby turned into a calling when he started bee keeping in 2014 and purchased a small farm in Saline County in 2015 — the very same year the county finally went wet. With the unwavering support of his wife Dana, Tony followed what he firmly believes was a God-planted seed and founded Arkansas’s very first meadery.

We began crafting and selling our meads commercially in 2021, and for the past four years our bottles have been proudly purchased in liquor stores across the state and at festivals far and wide.

In 2026 we’re thrilled to open our long-awaited tasting room right here on the farm, where you’ll finally be able to sit down, taste our full lineup, and experience the honey, the land, and the story behind every glass.

Justin fell in love with experimenting and fermenting his own wines in 2016. When the time came to take Arkansas Meadery public, Justin's experience in social media marketing  and start-up business operations coupled with his love for fermenting (and his Dad, Tony, being the Owner/Meadmaker), made him the perfect person for this role! Nothing makes Justin happier than introducing people to mead and seeing them enjoy our products. He works hard every day to get the word out about the meadery, make merchandise, and answer all of your questions!
